It’s no secret that I’m a huge Miner fan, given that I will try to be as unbiased as I can, lol. The Miners enter tonight’s contest against Houston having won 6 of 7, although due to a missed call by a spineless referee, then Miners should be 7 of 7 in their last 7 games. The Cougars enter the game having won 8 of 10. They both have impressive ATS records so far this season, with UTEP at 9-3 ATS, and Houston 7-3 ATS. Both teams come into the contest averaging 77ppg, however the Miners hold a -13 ppg defensive advantage. Stephon Jackson, defense, and the home crowd will be the difference in tonight’s contest, add to that that the Miners are an impressive 4-0 ATS the last three seasons against the Cougars, and we have the ingredients for a smooth cover.
