Jordan Picks Week 14 College Football Against The Spread
Central Michigan – 10 over Eastern Michigan
CMU still has a lot left to play for. Their offense has been lethal with a healthy Dan LeFevour and will move the ball at will with him at the reigns. They also have a guy who can score from anywhere on the field in any way who is leading the nation in punt return yards in Antonio Brown. Eastern Michigan is a very weak team that is inferior in every category. EMU’s extremely weak defense shouldn’t be able to keep this one close for more than a quarter. CMU 32, EMU 13
WVU – 3 over Pittsburgh
“Backyard Brawl”
I am going to agree with Mitch and take WVU in the role of the avenger. Pat White should take care of business in his last brawl and have a big day. Pat White is the key to WVU. When Pat White shows up they can beat anyone in the country, when he doesn’t show up they could lose a game like the brawl last year. I see White really getting up for this game. Pittsburgh has been a very solid team when playing the role of the spoiler. A lot of people expect Pitt to win this game though and that should set the table for a Wannstedt choke. WVU 21, Pitt 17
LSU – 4 over Arkansas
Ok Les Miles, it is time to turn the tigers around and get them headed in a positive direction before they go bowling. I know it isn’t a year that the Tigers are very proud of, but Arkansas still should not be able to beat LSU this weekend. LSU has a good defense that will have to battle all game and will eventually wear down the Arkansas fronts with their depth. LSU has plenty of play makers to get back on track. LSU 35, Arkansas 30

Arizona St – 10 over UCLA
Well, I hope everyone knows that I would never do this again unless I sincerely meant it, as well as putting a perfect PAC–10 records at stake but I am going with my Devils as a big favorite. I am doing this based on insider knowledge. I know some players and they have told me that they are starting to feel like they did last season when they could play with anyone in the country. This team is finally healthy and Erickson has fixed some glitches with their offensive line. UCLA really struggles to move the ball on offense and they have been a BAD road team this year. ASU should get it done this weekend at home in a big way. Rudy Carpenter still has a lot left in his tank and a healthy ASU team will demand respect on a big Friday night TV game with their home fans behind them.
ASU 31, UCLA 20
Nevada – 4 over La Tech
Nevada has a dynamic offense with Colin Kaepernick leading the way and can throw up big points. They even played Boise St. very closely and had many chances to beat them. They steam rolled Fresno St. the weak before as well. Nevada is playing big time football right now and could be a dark horse to sneak up on a BCS team in a bowl game. 4 points should be an easy cover vs. one of the worst defenses in the WAC. Tech can throw the ball at will and they have the ability to play with Nevada, I just can’t see it happening though.
Nevada 42, La Tech 28
Oklahoma – 7 over Oklahoma St.
Oklahoma has gone wild on offense all year and with Demarco Murray healthy I would avoid them on my schedule. Oklahoma St. is in for a real beating this weekend if they can’t score with Oklahoma because the Sooners should score on every possession and I can’t say the same for State. Oklahoma’s defense also stepped up to the challenge last week and was able to stop the most dynamic offense in football all game. Sam Bradford is playing extremely accurate football right now and it would just be stupid to pick against a team as hot as the Sooners right now. Oklahoma 56, Oklahoma St. 35

Florida – 16.5 over Florida St.
Until further notice, I won’t pick against the Gators. No one has been able to stop this offense yet so why not ride the hot hand. Florida St. is a team full of talent but no discipline. They have been beating themselves this year at times and it has been frustrating for people to watch knowing how good they COULD be. The bottom line is that Florida has been massacring quality SEC opponents and Florida St. has been choking to weak ACC opponents. Florida St. has no business keeping this one close. Florida wins this one big. Florida 63 Florida St. 21
South Carolina + 1 over Clemson
Spurrier’s boys should bounce back after the beating they took at Florida. They still have one of the top defenses in all of football and they are very strong at taking the ball away. Clemson is a team that is inconsistent and makes a lot of mistakes. If one thing goes wrong for the Tigers the whole team goes spiraling out of control. South Carolina should be able to sit back and capitalize on Clemson’s turnovers and hope that Spurrier elects Stephen Garcia as the starter. South Carolina 14, Clemson 10
Oregon St – 3 over Oregon
I am so bummed that freshman running back The Quiz Rogers is hurt I can barely stand it. The team rides on this guys back every game and has been carrying them to the Rose Bowl. Without him it will be a very difficult task to beat Oregon but somehow someway they do it. I predicted Oregon St. to win the Pac – 10 this year after they pulled off that huge upset over USC and they definitely have the talent to do so. The fans up in Corvalis will be a huge lift for them and I think somehow the little Beavers pull off the dream and put the Trojans in the holiday bowl. OSU 20, Oregon 17

You make a lot of sense and I agree with you completely. I believe that Fla. State won’t stand a
chance against Florida, and most teams this season have not been able to compete with Florida. I also predict that Florida will play for the BCS Championship game, and will win over who ever their opponents are. Thanks
